Measure your wall

STEP 1: MEASURE THE WIDTH OF YOUR WALL IN FEET

STEP 2: MEASURE THE HEIGHT OF YOUR WALL IN FEET

STEP 3: MULTIPLY YOUR TWO MEASURMENTS TOGETHER, THIS IS HOW MANY SQUARE FEET YOUR WALL IS

STEP 4: IF YOUR WALL HAS A DOOR, SUBTRACT THIS FROM YOUR TOTAL. YOU CAN FIGURE OUT THIS NUMBER THE SAME WAY YOU MEASURED YOUR WALL

PREPPING YOUR WALL

STEP 1: UNBOX WEEKENDWALLS FOR ACCLIMATING, LET MATERIAL SIT FOR 36 HOURS BEFORE INSTALLING.

STEP 2: MOVE THE FURNITURE

STEP 3: REMOVE HARDWARE FROM YOUR WALLS

STEP 4: REMOVE DUST AND GRIME FROM THE WALLS. This is a very important step that cannot be skippedFor the adhesive to work properly, the surface you are applying the panels to must be clean and dry.

START YOUR FIRST ROW

STEP 1: FIND YOUR STARTING POINT

In the middle of your wall, make a pencil mark that is with width of 4 boards down from the ceiling. In this case, the boards are 5 inches wide so our mark is 20” down.

STEP 2: MARKING THE WALL

A single pencil mark is all you will need to place your first piece.

STEP 3: MAKING YOUR LEVEL LINE

Using your level as a straight edge, draw a level line on your mark you made earlier with a pencil.

STEP4: CHOOSE YOUR FIRST BOARD AND PEEL OFF THE BACKING

Choose a long piece for your first board.  This will help you maintain a level line throughout the wall. Peel the first two pieces of backing off completely.

STEP 5: ALIGN YOUR FIRST BOARD WITH YOUR LEVEL LINE

With the board angled away from the wall so that the exposed adhesive does not come in contact the surface, place the board on the level line you drew earlier. When you feel like the board and the line match up well, slowly and gently press the board towards the wall so the adhesive makes contact with the wall.

STEP 6: CONFIRM ALIGNMENT AND STICK IT!

Confirm the first board looks even with the line and give it a pat to stick to the wall.

STEP 7: ACTIVATE THE ADHESIVE WITH PRESSURE

Using a J-Roller, put some pressure on the first piece to make sure it is firmly attached to the wall. The adhesive is pressure sensitive and is activated by the pressure you exert onto it.

STEP 11: YOUR SECOND PIECE

Using the first board as a reference, place your second board. You can peel off all three strips of adhesive backing this time. Remember you want to overlap your boards to stagger the ends.

STEP 12: CARRY ON

Continue to add boards and build upon your wall. Remember to use the J-Roller every several rows to make sure the boards make good contact with your wall and that you are properly activating the pressure sensitive adhesive.
